The Sacred Dance
In our hearts we all danced together,
But the record cracked and jarred.
The sacred sound
Began to fade.
Had the final tune been played?
With open minds we turn our heads
Straining for a higher sound,
And on the wind
A mystical chorus
A symphony of sound
We face our souls, we know the steps.
The tune so strange and true
Seems to beckon
And draw us in,
Till we are swirling round and round.
In our hearts we are dancing together
To an older, clearer sound.
The human soul
Has called the tune
The melody at last we've found.
